My name is Emily Ray, and I'm in my 25th year in public education. I graduated from St. Clair County High School in 1995, and after earning a BS in secondary education from The University of Alabama (Roll Tide!), I came back to St. Clair County and taught English and served as a school counselor at my alma mater for 22 years. A few years ago, I made the move to teach business at Eden Career Technical Center and recently shifted to my current role as career coach. I love that I get to merge my career tech, English, and counseling experience to help kids explore the wide world of career options.
