Our Vision

Our vision is to inspire a community of lifelong learners who are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and values to lead and succeed in a diverse and dynamic world.

  • The Culinary Arts program is a secondary-level program that is part of the Hospitality and Tourism pathway. It includes Hospitality and Tourism, Culinary I, Culinary II, and Baking and Pastry classes. Our program focuses on training students in safety, sanitation, knife skills, cooking fundamentals, and baking and pastry applications. The College and Career Readiness Indicator (CCRI) for this program is the ServSafe Manager Certification.

  • My name is Meigan Tucker, and I am the chef instructor for the Eden Career Technical Culinary Arts Program. I grew up in Springville, where I graduated from high school in 2000. I completed my culinary arts degree at Johnson & Wales University in Charleston, SC, and apprenticed at the Grove Park Inn in Asheville, NC. For the last ten years, I have been teaching culinary arts in Jefferson County and am so happy to be back in St. Clair County. I am married to my husband, Jebb, and have a son, Asa.
