Welcome!
I am excited about serving St. Clair County schools and students as a career coach. I was raised here in St. Clair County and still reside here today. I graduated from Pell City High School in 2008, then rolled to Tuscaloosa to attend The University of Alabama. Unfortunately, I arrived without a plan and bounced through a few majors and potential career paths. I finally landed after playing and working for Crimson Tide athletics and graduated in 2013 with a B.S. in Athletic Training. I went on to serve as an athletic trainer at Georgia College & State University while also earning my M.Ed. in kinesiology and human performance. After years of serving as a college athletic trainer, a clinical physician extender, and then high school athletic trainer, I made my way into the world of teaching. Beginning in 2019, I taught health sciences and sports medicine at the Blount County Career Tech Center.
Each step of my education and career path has brought me closer to this role I am in now. I am passionate about helping students prepare and plan for what comes next. I want to see our students be successful whether they choose to attend college or go straight to work. FAFSA, job applications, resumes, college applications, and interest inventories are just a few of the things I can help our students with.
Feel free to contact me by email or by phone.
